An old winter is still a winter
I am back. It would be horribly funny, if I just did one daily post and then disappeared again, but alas. I will leave that joke for another time.
I have realized a problem and a benefit with writing here everyday. First, the problem: I am gonna run out of pictures to share at the top. And you might say: "Oh, you really don't need a photo for every post, it is okay!" But to that I say, no. I like the style of having a header picture with a little poem, anecdote (like today) or any piece of writing there at the top. Feels right and also makes it into a format, which I prefer. I think. Anyways the solution/benefit here is that I will need to go on more walks to take new pictures. So, in a weird way writing these dawn notes will also be a motivator to go out more. But currently I am going through the archives of pictures I've taken.
Anything special happening today?
Kinda! The semester is starting here at uni, even though I don't have classes this Monday. I will however spend today reading I think two chapters for my courses. I am excited to learn about signals, which brings me to...
Projects, projects, projects?
I am doing a senior project within the field of digital signal processing. So, learning about signals & systems will be of benefit. I am almost ready to start making a plugin using JUCE, but I need some time still to refine my C++ skills. Hopefully in one/two weeks time I will have a prototype ready. Then, of course, there are other projects or at least project ideas. I printed out the manuscript of my short story, allowing me to start editing (I just like paper). The last one I will mention is an idea I have. I am currently not using YouTube, since it became basically an addiction, for a month with some friends. And I am realizing that I really only want to watch like one or two videos a day, but it is really difficult to manage that, so I was thinking of making an extension that basically reads the RSS feed from my select few creators I want to watch. And then have YT outside of YT.
Anything else on your mind?
Yes, I am thinking of these sections and how will I do them in the future, because I am sure I won't have much to write about on some days. But that's okay. I had a thought at work that a blog post can be just a title. So, if you see an empty blog post titled "a blog post can be just a title" by me, the idea came on this day.
An extra section today! Music!!
I love music. That much must be said. But I had been falling out of habit of enjoying listening to music. I don't quite know why, but it might be because of burnout or just being tired and wanting to undergo atrophy. But today I had a good morning work session where I listened to a few albums. I am really enjoying the song: blur - LVL UP. Thanks to FUNKe, for using it in a video earlier in the month.
