Some thoughts on Inspiration.
Dawn Notes no.3

Faraway, Fading
Hello, this early morning. Today I am gonna keep it much shorter, since I still need to make breakfast and go to a bunch of lectures right after.
What is today's topic?
Inspiration. I will quickly write about some things that inspire me, because that is all I have time for.
Why this topic?
Well, since I looked at today picture and it inspired me. I don't know for what exactly, but it did. For me, inspiration is like a moment of acknowledgement inside me that says: "Yes, this is right, there is something here, please explore here." It is difficult to really describe. But when I get it, it is the most wonderful feeling.
So, what does inspire you?
Music!! That's a big one. Music creates an atmosphere that is free to be filled by anything you can imagine. I remember when I was young I would listen to instrumental electronic music, and imagine each part of a song with different scenes and meanings. "Oh, this part is where the horses are marching in unity, and then we will get the calm, before the storm," something like that. For a beautifully expressive song, that moves like a theater play go listen to Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part One by King Crimson. The whole album is very inspiring. Okay that is one thing, another often is nature or the outside. Going on walks, like the one I took with my girlfriend in France around new years (the picture is from that walk), is a refresher of sorts for me. It reminds me of how awe inspiring anything can be. Whether it is a row of trees, or a house on the horizon. It just sends you thinking with ideas.
Oh, we are done already?
Yes, there is much more to say, but I am really hungry, so I will leave it at this for now.
See you, tomorrow!
