I needed a space to keep track of everything, so I settled on making a blog. I am used to writing in my notebook when I need to rethink or contextualize, but I will from now on do this here (some of the time).

I have been quite busy with life which is not usual for me. I've always left enough space to express, rest, and compress. But since I've taken up new responsibilities, I've had a great recline in my "productive" rest time. Which meant no time to do anything I would appreciate for myself. You know, even this blog post has given me trouble. I keep exaggerating what the task at hand is. I am not sure if what I am saying even makes sense, but what does it matter eh?
You know? I always thought that I did creative things only for myself. I've spent countless hours fiddling with music software or whatever hardware I have acquired to make soundscapes or songs that were always meant for me to just express. However, in recent years, my creativity or self-expression has been tied down by the burden of capital thought. I forbid creative expression without merit toward the capitalistic society. so without surprise, I find myself stuck. I cannot make anything if it doesn't satisfy my inherent need to make it "profitable". In a way, finding ways to monetize your creative work in this world seems like a cheat, fantasy. I do what I enjoy and sustain my living conditions? SIGN ME UP! I wish it were that simple for me. Instead pushing for monetization is stopping me before I even start.
So I've created this space. I will use it to get things out without thinking about anything else, except expression, or the want to share my ideas into the endlessly deep and dark ether that the internet can be.
To shine some light in this dark room and to lift mine and your spirits, let me write down some things I want to host in this little alcove I've started to dig:
- A rambly collection of blogs where I allow myself to just write titled "The Dawn Circuit"
- My music and sound exploration notes
- Maybe a page including my projects
- My Mothership session reports + ideas
- A gallery of pictures / art I've taken / made
- A page of books I've read and would recommend
- Updates on my electronics projects (modular synth)
- A guestbook or comments section, for the possibility of interaction
- Anything else I can come up with

this is the test/pilot attempt at making a flow of consciousness/brain dump post entitled The Dawn Circuit, because I usually do this in mornings.↩
